Patient FAQs

Yes. A pharmacist is available to address any clinical questions or medication concerns.

For prescription status, insurance inquiries, or refills, please contact Hill Country Pharmacy during normal business hours at 1-844-295-5516.

You can drop off your prescription in person at our Pearland, Texas office, but most prescriptions are sent electronically or by fax from your provider.

We handle all insurance verification and will contact you as soon as coverage and financial assistance options are confirmed.

As part of our Patient Management System, one of our pharmacy technicians will call you a week before your medication runs out.

We’ll check on your progress, address any side effects, and schedule your refill.
We can also coordinate refills for non-specialty medications if requested.

If there is an emergency or a disaster, Hill Country Pharmacy will make every effort to ensure that you do not experience an interruption in your medication regimen. If possible, we obtain an override to fill the prescription early if there are anticipated delivery delays. We could arrange to have medication delivered via a courier service, or we could transfer the prescription to a different pharmacy.

You can call Hill Country Pharmacy anytime during business hours to check on insurance approval, shipment status, or refill timing.

Our staff will provide up-to-date information and assist with any questions.

If approved by your physician, Hill Country Pharmacy may substitute a clinically equivalent and more cost-effective option to reduce expenses.

Substitutions are made only when beneficial to the patient and compliant with insurance or prescriber requirements.

If you relocate or need to change pharmacies, call Hill Country Pharmacy at 1-844-295-5516.

We’ll coordinate with your new pharmacy to transfer prescriptions quickly and safely.

If your medication cannot be filled by us, we’ll help you locate another pharmacy and transfer your prescription smoothly to avoid delays.

If a recall occurs, Hill Country Pharmacy is immediately notified by the FDA or manufacturer.

We’ll contact you directly with clear instructions on what to do next, provide packaging for returns, and arrange replacement medication if necessary.

Used injectables or needles should be placed in the Sharps container provided in your initial shipment.

For disposal, contact your local county office for official collection dates or drop-off locations.

If you experience side effects, call Hill Country Pharmacy immediately to speak with a pharmacist for guidance.

For any severe reactions or medical emergencies, call 911 immediately.
